The Red Branch
When you roll initiative you may spend any number of hit dice up to
your half proficiency bonus rounded up. When you do so increase the
reach of this weapon by 5ft per hit die spent.
When you hit a creature with this weapon you may use your bonus
action to force the creature to make a DC 16 Strength saving throw,
on a failure the creature is moved to maximum reach the weapon
currently has. If the creature hits an object before reaching the
maximum distance it takes 1d6 bludgeoning damage for each 5 feet
