Whenever an opponent casts an instant or sorcery, counter that spell. Then place a -1/-1 counter on Tengu Hex Eater. This ability triggers only once per turn.

It's a rather peculiar tradition, and the effects
on ones own body can be terrible. But to many
tengu such power is worth the suffering.
