Pyrotherium

Pyrotherium ('fire beast') is an extinct genus of South American ungulate, of the order Pyrotheria, that lived in what is now Argentina and Bolivia. It was named Pyrotherium because the first specimens were excavated from an ancient volcanic ash deposit.
