Whenever damage to an attacking Soldier you control is prevented for the first time each turn,
put a shield counter on Gorou.

If a source would deal damage to you, remove a shield counter from Gorou. If you do, prevent that damage. (If multiple sources would deal damage at once, choose which sources to prevent this way.)
