Eleanor Geddes

Eleanor 'Ellen' Geddes was born in Taylor's
Head, Halifax, Nova Scotia to unknown parents;
she may be related to Robert Geddes, a pioneer
of Musquodoboit. In 1844, Eleanor married
George Grant, the son of a Scottish immigrant,
and they had eight children: six boys and two girls.
She lived in Musquodoboit, in Wyses Corner
for many years, and died there in 1898.
