Until end of turn, Equipment permanents you control have "If equipped creature would die, you may remove all damage from it and sacrifice this permanent, instead."
At the beginning of your upkeep, you may sacrifice a creature you control. If you do, you may return Deus Ex Machina from your graveyard to your battlefield.
