Christina Hawes was born in Little Rock, AK. At
16, she married Clarence, and at 17 their 1st
child was born. She had her 8th child, Ruth, at
43, the same age her mother had been when she
had her last child. Christina and Clarence had
been married for 46 years when she died of a
stroke in Marysville, CA, in 1951. She was 62.
