Austin, Soul Sold

At the beginning of your upkeep, Austin takes X damage where X is the number of Branded
counters on the battlefield.
Whenever a creature an opponent controls with
a branded counter on it dies, you gain 3 life.
Put a +1/+1 counter on Austin, Soul Sold for
each branded counter removed this way.
{p/r}{p/b}: Austin deals 1 damage to target creature.
Put a branded counter on that creature. If that
creature isn't branded, it becomes branded.
